Let Love Lead the Way

By Ken G. Cooper

The Christmas star shines on each year
It never goes away,
Its message through eternity:
“Hear what the angels say”

There is one God who loves us all,
Whatever we have done,
And if we do what things are good,
In peace our lives will run.

Now Jesus said, when he grew up
My peace I leave with you.
Throughout his life he let Love lead
And wished that we would too.

This is his wish for all mankind,
Not just for Christmas day,
But for each moment in each year,
That Love will guide your way.

So, let’s hold hands, reach out with love,
Respect what each may say,
For when Love leads, we feel the Christ,
And God will bless your day.

*“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14

We Are All God's Beloved

By Ken Cooper

Father-Mother help us to see
We shine with Your authority.
Your Love reflects as everyone;
We hear these holy words: “My Son”!

Christ Jesus came as loving proof,
He gave to all and shared this Truth:
Man is beloved. This vision true
Confirms our glory is of You.

We are all God's beloved.
Christ Jesus, in his glory, proved it.

See Matt. 3:17

"Let"

By Ken Cooper

Oh be ye blest whom Jesus blest;
His loving sermon still stands sure.
And blest are ye who seek the Christ,
Who open their hearts to be pure.

So “Let” and find eternal grace, -
An inner peace that cannot hide:
Dissolving wrong and sense of self,
All personality and pride.

Oh how I pray to heed this word,
Be led unto Gennesaret.
In humble trust “...but as thou wilt.”
Let go! No need to do! Just let…..

Matthew 26:39 but
SH 15:14-20
In order to pray aright, we must enter into the closet and shut the door. We must close the lips and silence the material senses. In the quiet sanctuary of earnest longings, we must deny sin and plead God’s allness. We must resolve to take up the cross, and go forth with honest hearts to work and watch for wisdom, Truth, and Love.
