Treatment Ideas for January 1, 2020

By Julio C. Rivas, CS

When we fully understand our relation to the Divine, 1 we can have no other Mind but His, — no other Love, wisdom, or Truth, no other sense of Life, and no consciousness of the existence of matter or error. — Eddy

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. — Matt. 15:28, KJ

Eternal Truth-Love is imparting wholeness to us, and thereby answering our deepest yearnings. Our inner divinity exudes Love’s wisdom and omnipotence, thereby bringing forth our inward Love-excellence, and excising grievous impositions.

The Woman of Caanan

By Ken G. Cooper

Matthew 15:21-28

My child is ill, what can I do
Physicians fail and I feel lost.
My heart is heaving, her eyes sad,
In motherhood there is such cost.

I reach out deep in prayer to God
To guide my frightened thought to peace:
“A man called Jesus he is near
With him you will find sure release.”

I want to bring my child with me
But she’s too ill to leave her bed:
A dear friend says that she will stay,
To “Go find Jesus, heal your dread”.

So God did guide my way to him.
For Jesus stood out from this crowd,
I thanked my God, and took this risk:
A gentile woman shouting loud!

“Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.”

I know he heard my frantic plea,
But he did not respond at all!
His disciples were no better,
Were annoyed by my constant call!

They sought the Lord to send me back,
They just did not want to know,
My urging and request he knew,
His message seemed that I should go!

“I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

A cold rebuff, was this a test?
My need was great, he must sure see!
I went up close and begged again,
With tears I cried “Oh Lord help me!”

“It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.”

I heard his words, yet felt his love,
And list’ning, love did guide my thought:
The challenge still to try me more:
So! strong determination fought!

“Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.”

“O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt.”

And with his love I knew right then
That just one crumb of Truth does heal;
That what he spake came straight from God!
Her devil’s illness never real!

When I returned, my home in sight,
My daughter ran and fast met me!
In love we cuddled Oh so tight!
In Love, lives changed completely.

Look on us. The man at the Beautiful Gate

By Ken G. Cooper

Acts 3:1-11

“And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.”

"And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said "Look on us."

Not the look of worthless pity gave they,
That makes more miserable a man already satan-bound;
Nor of contempt, the "I am better than thou", -
The hurried steps to leave alone as found.
NO! Here an active deed of unselfed love.
Peter saw him, and spiritually discerned with surest gaze
The perfect man, whole, complete, a fellow child of God.

"Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee:
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk"

And he saw too, lifted up by Peter's knowing praise
To see himself as whole indeed, no longer to live
Upon the alms of man, but in the freedom of the Lord!

"And he leaping up stood, and walked....
Walking and leaping and praising God."

Treatment Ideas for December 18, 2019

By Julio C. Rivas, CS

Feeling/Healing

Hold perpetually this thought, — that it is the spiritual idea, the Holy Ghost and Christ, which enables you to demonstrate, with scientific certainty, the rule of healing, based upon its divine Principle, Love, underlying, overlying, and encompassing all true being. — Eddy

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. — II Cor. 2: 14, KJ

Imperial Harmony-Intelligence, I am grateful that Your dynamic and victorious wellness — Christ — saturates and propels us. Evil’s insidious and mesmeric machinations are being eviscerated by our Christly choices.

The Birth of Jesus

By Ken C. Cooper

Let me ask: “Who was there when Mary gave birth?”
– The Father of Jesus, the God of all earth!
‘Though her bed in a barn, midst cattle and sheep,
Her faith in The Father was constant and deep.
His Love that was present so perfect, she smiled.
She knew God was guarding both mother and child.
And when the time came for her boy to be born,
In peace and in stillness began the new morn.
God’s angels were present dispelling the night
For all around Mary and Jesus was light!
This light drew the shepherds that wanted to see
The Son that was promised to save you and me!
Led to the barn by the star shining above,
They felt, as they followed, the glory of Love.
O everyone feel what they must have felt, -
God’s love for man is not randomly dealt:
For each one of us has God for our Dad!
Let’s sing with the angels: “REJOICE! AND BE GLAD!”

Treatment Ideas for December 11, 2019

By Julio C. Rivas, CS

The divine Mind maintains all identities, from a blade of grass to a star, as distinct and eternal. — Eddy

When Jesus saw that the people came running to- gether, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. 26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead. 27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. — Mark 9: 25-27, KJ

Feeling/Healing: Truth’s almighty, ever-active, harmonizing energies are surrounding and in-filling us. Our yielding to these energies saves us from the multiple lies that materiality tries to hypnotize us with. This is the Christ-power that dwells in everyone.

The divine Mind that made man maintains His own image and likeness. (Eddy)

You are my hiding place; You, LORD, protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance. (Psalms‬ ‭32:7‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

Knowing/Healing: The universe and man constitute Love-Mind’s proclaiming of its harmonious all-ness; its eternal singing about perfection and beauty. Thank You, Love, because I see that Your holy notes are our inviolable substance.

Father-Mother: All-in-All

By Ken G. Cooper

Within the infinitude of God's All-Goodness,
Principle, the permanent embrace of Almighty Love,
 is our absolute protection,
Holding and hiding us in Everlasting arms.
Above and beyond the nothingness of error's non-existent claims,
Undisturbed by the empty drama of the so-called Adam dream,
Man is complete, fully armoured,
at one with his Father-Mother,
Surrounded by the sweet songs of Soul,
Forever at one with Principle and Love.
We are the reflection of God,
in humble and glorious obedience to our spiritual source.
Nothing else; nowhere else.
Perfect God the preserver of perfect man.
Our Father-Mother so clearly seen as All-in-all.

Gen 1:27   God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;

Deut 33:27The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:

John 5:17 My, 30 (to:) My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. …………I can of mine own self do nothing.

Treatment Ideas for November 30, 2019

By Julio C. Rivas, CS

Divine Mind is the only cause or Principle of existence. Cause does not exist in matter, in mortal mind, or in physical forms. (Eddy)

Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God. (1 Kings 18: 38-39)

Understanding/Healing: Our Perfection-Source is preserving us inside its matrix of harmony. And Perfection-Mind’s illuminations are deracinating materiality’s fables — torments, disorders, anguish, trauma and penury. Perfection-Love is our unavoidable reality.
