.
Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. — Is. 29: 8, KJ

Treatment Ideas for January 29, 2020

By Julio C. Rivas, CS

To infinite, ever-present Love, all is Love, and there is no error, no sin, sickness, nor death. -- Eddy

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.--Rev. 12: 10, KJ

Love-Harmony is pullulating throughout my life with omnipotent health, vitality, joy, power and gratitude; and this Christly process is eviscerating evil-miseries.

Comfort Is Thine

By Ken G. Cooper

(can be sung to the tune Rock of Ages)

Life is comfort ever bright,
In Life’s great compass there’s no night.
No sin, disease and death are there,
For Life is perfect, everywhere.
Oh feel the health of Life Divine:
Life’s word of comfort: “Thou art Mine.”

Truth is comfort ever sure,
In Truth’s strong fortress we’re secure.
No evil thoughts can make headway
Against the rock that cannot sway.
Oh feel the sword of Truth Divine:
Truth’s word of comfort: “Thou art Mine.”

Love is comfort ever strong,
In Love’s embrace we all belong.
Sheltered from each icy blast,
Untouched by future or by past.
Oh feel the warmth of Love Divine:
Love’s word of comfort: “Thou art Mine.”

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”  John 17:3

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

“..the God of love and peace shall be with you.”   2 Corinthians 13:11 the

Cross Swords With Temptation and LIVE

By Ken G. Cooper

Cross swords with temptation, let fly!
Repel Satan’s every try!
Secure as God’s son,
Fight on and fight on.
The tempter can ever just lie!

Thrust firm at temptation and kill
What pain and fake pleasure would will.
False fears soon give way
Attacked straight-away:
With God all your thoughts you must fill.

So rise with Truth’s sword in your hand;
Wield spiritual strength pure and grand.
Oh prove God is All:
With victory call!
God’s kingdom is here: so I stand!

Love: A Parent's Revelation

By Ken G. Cooper

I’ve heard a lot about this person Jesus.
Peter’s bringing him home tonight, - he’s talked about no one else ever since he met him.
I’ll never understand Peter. He’s so impetuous!
Jesus said “Follow me” – or something to that effect, - and Peter did exactly that!
Never said “Goodbye”.
Nothing Peter does surprises me….but he’s got a heart of gold and I love him.

I’ll see them both tonight.
I wonder what he’s like, this Jesus.
Peter thinks he’s really special, - but he only comes from Nazareth.
Apparently he was a carpenter, - so what can he teach a fisherman??
There have been crowds following his new friend, -
He’s been healing people of all kinds of diseases, - Peter can hardly believe what he’s seeing.
Keeps talking about him, about praying to “Our Father!”,  “Doing unto others what you’d have them do to you”
I hope he’s not being tricked by all this talk and seeming miracles. I’m not going to be.

My daughter has planned a special meal for Peter and his friends, - we won’t let Peter down.
She’ll need my help. But I don’t feel well…….need to lie down…
Can hardly move…
Must get to bed….
Don’t want to be a nuisance…

“Hello Peter….I’m so sorry
…… to be like this….
Hello Jesus…”

I look at his friend. He looks at me.
In one brief instant I forget myself, my doubts, my concerns for Peter.
How can I describe the Love that radiates from this man?
The complete knowledge of infinite power,
Infinite tenderness,
Expressed in his very being,
The effortless outreach of his hand to mine,
Lifting me up.

I am healed!
And I can’t now remember that anything was ever wrong! I just go and help, and with such joy!

***
During the next few days I see other people healed, completely, all instantaneously.
Jesus is saying to the crowds, to each one of us, here’s how to pray:
“Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name…” **
I feel the ever-present warmth and vibrancy of God’s love whenever I am near him.
I can feel the everlasting kindness of God right now.
I behold for the first time God’s true family. His Love embraces and includes us all. And it is my family too.

And suddenly realise that I love Peter, I love everyone, more than I ever did before.

(see *Mark 1:30-34; 3:31-35, and **Matthew 6:9 )

Moses, Dear Moses

By Ken G. Cooper

`The desert is hot, the sheep make no sound
As heat shimmers up from the stony ground.
I search the horizon for food to share
To look after the flock left in my care.
I think about God as I cross the land,
And I feel the strength of His outstretched hand.
And deep in my heart this question does grow:
“If God calls me, am I willing to go?”

A bush in the distance catches my gaze,
It’s somehow caught fire in the heat haze.
The flames are fierce, but the bush does not burn!
Is there something here that I have to learn?
I turn aside to get near this strange sight.
It seems lit with Love, untouched, shining bright!
I can't believe the vision I'm seeing:
A lurking fear runs through my whole being.

From the midst of the bush, and not from the sky,
My name is called twice. I respond: “Here am I”.
The voice of my God echoes all around:
“The place you are standing is Holy ground”
I must shed my shoes from off both my feet
And stand in humility, God to greet.
I hide my face as I feel awe and fear,
For His speaking to me is close and clear.

He unveils the task that I must accept,
But it is too great and I feel inept.
“Just who am I that should do such a thing, -
To the children of Israel freedom bring?”
Then comes His promise of God at my side,
A token of good: that God will not hide.
I hear His reply “I AM THAT I AM.”
I feel the assurance: with God I can!

Given my orders, I must now obey,
But who will believe what I have to say?
I have in my hand my strong shepherd’s rod.
I cast it, as bidden, onto the sod.
Aghast I see it turn into a snake!
I flee from before it, - no dream, - I’m awake!!
God tells me to take it back by its tail:
So I tackle my fears, and all is well.
The serpent that frightened me is no more.
For it never was. Of that I’m now sure.

But will they believe?  There is one more test.
God tells me “Place your hand inside your breast!”
I pull it out and it’s leprous as snow,
But this dread disease has no place to go!
I return my hand once more to my side, -
And pluck it out cleansed. Illusion defied.
God speaks yet again, what more do I need?
And still my doubts show, once more do I plead.

I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue
I’m sure to be laughed at by everyone!
His calm assurance once more wins the day:
God will be with me each step of the way.
But still I have doubts at the size of task -
Once more of God a request do I ask!
Please please send another rather than me:
So God supplied Aaron, supportively.

And now the years have greatly flown,
As I look back at wisdom grown.
The burning bush that burned so bright
Began the proof of God’s all might.
You gave us laws on which to act:
I prove them all as Holy fact.
God was my strength, He still is now.
In simple terms “He is the how!”
His love for all, our liberty:
Reflected Love; - reality!

“And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.” Deuteronomy 34:7

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”   Deuteronomy 6:4,5

Life-crowned

Eternity is God’s measurement of Soul-filled years. —Eddy

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. — Matt. 17: 2, KJ
