Cross swords
with temptation, let fly!
Repel Satan’s
every try!
Secure as God’s
son,
Fight on and
fight on.
The tempter can
ever just lie!
Thrust firm at
temptation and kill
What pain and
fake pleasure would will.
False fears soon
give way
Attacked straight-away:
With God all
your thoughts you must fill.
So rise with
Truth’s sword in your hand;
Wield spiritual
strength pure and grand.
Oh prove God is
All:
With victory
call!
God’s kingdom is
here: so I stand!
